We came back from Veracruz on the southern route - all toll roads. I really wish I would have photographed some of the jungle, but I really thought we would be in the traffic forever, so I never got a shot of the all the foilage. The kids at first made monkey noises when they saw banana trees, but the novelty of these trees along the highway wore off fast. These are pictures from the last day of our trip.

Puebla is such a charming town, with cobblestone streets, brightly colored restaurants and lots of delicious food. We'll have to plan a whole weekend here.
